8. Cooperative Learing

Cooperative learning is a successful teaching strategy in which small teams, each with students of different levels of ability, use a variety of learning activities to improve their understanding of a subject. Each member of a team is responsible not only for learning what is taught but also for helping teammates learn, thus creating an atmosphere of achievement. Students work through the assignment until all group members successfully understand and complete it.
Why use Cooperative Learning?

Most people believe that if the students know the structure and vocabulary, they will be able to use language to communicate. But the fact that although the students learn the structure of languages, they can’t talk or communicate with foreigners, or used in a way that native language does not. As a result, linguists and those involved in teaching foreign languages has developed a concept of teaching a foreign language to communicate more.
